Eyes on Idioms
A video that introduces the figurative language device IDIOM. This video addresses the common core standard for ELA Grade 7, however it can be used for grades 6-8. There is a section that requires students to guess the idiom and its meaning; this could be used as a quick summative assessment by teachers.
