The Colosseum was a structure that was designed by Vesapasian a Roman Emperor and soon later his son Tidus who soon took over after his fathers death. This was a Grand Amphitheater that could seat about 75,000 people, it was made out of concrete and stone, and which was build in the honor of Constantine. The place was flooded with water and it was known as the place convicts, slaves, prisoners, gladiators and (sometimes even female gladiators) would fight for the crowds satisfaction. It the "Entertainment" of their time and if the people would put their thumbs up that was an indication for the opponent to finish the other opponent you would have to kill them for the peoples pleasure, but in some cases not all fights ended tragic. It was a place for persecution and also a place where gladiators could show off their fighting tactics that they learned in gladiator school. During the Colosseum they would bring Lions, Bears, Alligators, Tigers, and Elephants would fight to death either against each other or against a gladiator. The Colosseum a place where Chariots and Games took place that included races and horses. Romans enjoyed the races very much and the Wild Animal fights where they would have two hungry animals fight against each other. The final stages of the Colosseum were said to be ruined by Earth Quakes and other natural phenomena's that could've been karma for people finding some kind of joy watching others suffer and die for their entertainment. Christian faiths didn't believe this was the way to punish people and the place should be abandoned. The Colosseum changed the whole world forever from being known as the Theatre of Death with Gladiators and Wild Animals to the Art of Entertainment and Sports.
